The following switches are a hand operated, key lockable, control circuit device, rated ‘Heavy Duty’ normally for use with electromagnetic equipment. The covers and the  mushroom plunger heads are made from die-cast zinc and painted with a dry powder paint.

• Gold plated contacts eliminate high resistance tarnishing
• Nema 12/13, IP 65 

Each captive terminal will accept (2) #14 AWG stranded wires. Each switch is supplied with all mounting hardware and a solid neoprene rubber gasket which provides an oil tight seal upon installation. The mechanical life of this device is 500,000 operations.

These switches can be found on a variety of machines such as punch presses and press brakes as “RUN”, “START” or “STOP” buttons.  The rugged construction and long term reliability of these switches makes them extremely well suited to function within various industrial/commercial environments

The red plunger “Positive Break” style of the 04161-002 complies with all standards for ‘emergency stop’ applications.
